Tuverl won the World Bank Youth Summit Pitch Competition in December 2019, held at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington D.C. The competition challenged young changemakers to harness smart technology to address climate change and promote urban inclusion. Tuverl was among five finalists from 96 countries, ultimately winning the Jury Prize. Its app aims to improve public transport in Africa by optimizing routes, reducing inefficiencies, and increasing operator revenue. This victory provided Tuverl with valuable feedback, networking opportunities, and recognition for its innovative approach to transportation solutions.
