Tuverl Wins Georgetown Africa Business Conference Pitch Competition

In February 2020, Tuverl won the Georgetown African Business Conference Pitch Competition, held at Georgetown University’s McDonough Business School in Washington DC, USA. The event, a collaboration between the McDonough School of Business and the Walsh School of Foreign Service’s African Studies Program, showcases growth and impact of the private sector across Africa. Tuverl, led by CEO Hope Ndhlovu, competed against other startups and impressed judges with its clear business plan, innovative solution, and long-term profitability. The First Place Prize included US$5,000 and a three-month I/O Spaces coworking membership.
